Remote Consultations

Do you have nagging pain on the bike, or unresolved bike fit issues? New to cycling or triathlon and don’t know where to start? I’ve worked with cyclists of all levels who are frustrated because they have invested a lot of time, money, and emotional energy but are still experiencing pain and discomfort on the bike. The problem isn’t a lack of quality clinicians, the problem is a siloed approach to services that do not treat the whole athlete.

I take a comprehensive approach to identifying the underlying drivers of the problem, and then create a personalized plan of action to help you reach your cycling goals. Contact me directly at info@chloemurdockpt.com to schedule an assessment.

What’s included in the assessment?

  • Thorough review of your injury history, athletic history, current problems, and goals

  • Video analysis of your current bike fit, with recommendations for necessary changes as needed

  • Training on proper pedaling mechanics and ergonomics on the bike

  • Movement assessment of your mobility, stability, and cycling-specific movement patterns, and development a corrective exercise program to address your specific “weak links”

  • Development of an action plan: this may include referrals to other specialists (physicians, physiotherapists, coaches, bike fitters, dietitians, etc.), tips on how to get the most out of these follow-up appointments, and in which order to pursue them

Tim Myers Bike Fit
Initially, the thought of having a PT as a bike fitter was intriguing. I found that the attention to detail that a Chloe brings, and not the salesperson approach, was key to success in the fit process and inevitably races. Thanks to Chloe, I am faster, stronger and more comfortable on the bike and I owe that to her. I want to thank her again for the excellent and professional job that she did with my fit and I will continue to recommend her to my athletes.
— Tim Myers, Ironman Triathlete, Coach

I’ve seen Chloe for physical therapy on several different areas of my body and I also used her for a professional bike fit. I can honestly say she’s the best PT I’ve ever worked with and her bike fitting was meticulous and spot on! I had seen a couple of PTs in the past and was always disappointed; they weren’t accustomed to working with strong athletes focused on performance. With Chloe, from the very first visit I could tell it was going to be a productive experience. Her ability to assess and find the root of the issue shows her blend of attentiveness and knowledge. She then creates an individualized, specific therapy program with a variety of techniques that helped me progress and return stronger than before.
— Kenneth Anderson, road cyclist

I worked with Chloe for 3+ years and wholeheartedly recommend her as a physical therapist and bike fitter. She took the time to develop a thorough understanding of my physical goals, and helped me overcome lumbar, knee, and ankle injuries. I also relied on her for multiple bike and cleat fittings, and she expertly evaluated potential new bike purchases based on my riding type (distance and terrain), fit measurements and body limitations to avoid future injury.
